We are responsible for administrating ground-breaking environmental programmes - assessing applications to verify eligibility, authorising payments to participants and handling enquiries from current and potential participants. As Assistant Manager – Fuelling and Sustainability you will bring your technical expertise to the Non-Domestic-Renewable Heat Incentive (ND-RHI) and Renewable Obligation (RO) schemes. You’ll respond to complex enquiries and streamline business procedures to ensure robust and efficient processes. Also you’ll support on the sustainability requirements programme, by reviewing fuel measurement and sampling procedures and sustainability audit reports.

This is a technical role, which requires a background in STEM and exposure to policy work, and customer relations would also be useful. It’s likely you will be degree-qualified or hold equivalent professional qualifications or experience and can demonstrate a proven ability to manage and deliver operational processes. You’ll need strong numerical and data analysis skills, a keen eye for detail and effective communication skills. IT-literate, with extensive knowledge of MS Office and Excel you will also be a team-player with a firm commitment to your own professional development.
