We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join a Circular Economy and Environment team. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 8 years of post-graduate experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on project management. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the business, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. This position provides exposure to diverse areas within the Waste & Resource Management and Environment sectors, offering significant opportunities for career growth.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience.
  • Strong experience in project management, particularly in environmental engineering.
  • Proficient in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) management.
  • High-energy professional with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in engaging with external stakeholders, clients, and sub-contractors.
  • Flexible team player with the ability to work efficiently on own initiative.
  • Full driving license.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards.
  • Plan and manage the preparation of CAD documentation, working closely with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
  • Attend onsite meetings with clients and other professionals to discuss project progress and resolve any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and management systems, as well as relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Coordinate with other members of the project team to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Manage and oversee Environmental Impact Assessments and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
