We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join a specialist team as Energy Engineers. This opportunity is based in multiple locations across Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting Energy Auditing and providing Energy Efficient Design solutions.
- Assessing feasibility and designing Renewable Energy projects such as Solar PV, Wind, Hydro, and Biogas.
- Managing Planning Applications and administering contracts using Public Works and FIDIC Contracts.
- Collaborating effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent engineered solutions.
- Utilizing BIM (Building Information Modeling) for project management and coordination.
- Performing site surveys and assessments for various projects.
- Liaising with ESB (Electricity Supply Board) and handling Grid Connections.
- Working on water/wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Demonstrating a good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
- Using specialized software packages to design solar and wind generation.
Requirements:
- Possess an honours degree (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent in civil, mechanical, electrical, or energy engineering.
- Have a minimum of 5 years' post-graduate relevant experience in energy consultancy and energy management.
- Hold experience in Energy Auditing, Energy Efficient Design, Renewable Energy Feasibility, and design, as well as Planning Applications.
- Familiarity with contract administration using both the Public Works and FIDIC Contracts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Hold a full driving license.
Desirable:
- Involvement in renewable energy projects, including Solar PV, Wind, Hydro, and Biogas.
- Energy Auditing experience in industrial sites.
- Energy Efficient Design for MEICA and Building upgrade works.
- Conducting feasibility assessments for renewable energy projects, including cost-benefit analysis.
