ABOUT US
Ambition North Wales is a partnership of the 6 Local Authorities (Gwynedd, Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire, Wrexham and Flintshire) along with Bangor University, Glyndwr University, Grŵp Llandrillo Menai and Coleg Cambria. The Portfolio Management Office, established in 2020, is the team responsible for delivering the North Wales Growth Deal and securing the benefits for North Wales.
The Growth Deal is a £1 billion portfolio of up to 20 transformational projects to deliver our growth vision, exploiting the opportunities in the region as well as addressing some of the challenges facing the regional economy.
We are looking for enthusiastic, committed team players who are passionate about driving our work programme forward. Each role has it’s own focus, but you will be expected to contribute to the wider work of the team and the success of the team as a whole. We’re looking for team players capable of leading their own areas but also supporting their colleagues to deliver.
The Portfolio Management Office for Ambition North Wales is hosted by Gwynedd Council as our employing authority. Therefore, while the roles are with Ambition North Wales, your contract of employment will be with Gwynedd Council. Please note, the roles are not based in Gwynedd. The team office is currently in Llandudno Junction with agile working across the region.
