Our offices are in the UK (Cricklade, Wiltshire and Glasgow, Scotland) and we are happy to explore flexible working arrangements.

About the role

The Consultant will have a strong focus on market intelligence data and insight. You will:

• Gather, harmonise, verify and integrate a wide range of data sets from different sources

• Engage with our industry contacts to gain further knowledge and insight

• Support project delivery by presenting relevant data in clear and compelling ways

• Present market insight on our behalf to clients and at events, and

• Help drive forward our internal and external market intelligence provision.

Your career path may remain focussed on information management as this area of our business continues to grow, in time managing a team active in this area, or you may move to delivery and management of consulting projects, along with others in our team.

About you

We are looking for people with most of the following:

• A good degree, ideally in data science, mechanical, civil or electrical engineering, physics, natural science, mathematics or economics or a masters in renewable energy

• Some relevant professional experience working in industry

• A strong aptitude for data collection and mining, and a fundamental interest in the data that you will be working with and how it can be used to make a difference to clients, globally

• A vision and excitement for what can be done through combining data sets

• Excellent English speaking and writing skills to communicate clearly and accurately 

• An enjoyment of communicating widely, especially to uncover new data sets and insights

• An aptitude for order, accuracy, efficiency and quality so that you can deliver to our high standards

• Flexibility, focus and a hunger to learn

• Confidence in your ability and talent as a high performer

• A passion for the industries we serve.
