We are seeking a Bioresources Operator to join our team based at Marsh Mills in Plymouth, working 12-8pm, Monday to Friday.

What will you be doing?

As a Bioresources Operator you will carry out reactive and planned work as scheduled to deliver the day to day operation and maintenance of the sludge treatment and digestion centres. You'll carry out site monitoring to ensure effective site operation and that compliance requirements are maintained.

The Bioresources Operator will store and handle chemicals in accordance with COSHH, QMS Procedures and relevant Health and Safety standards. You will carry out first line maintenance on instruments and mechanical equipment; as well as the calibration of equipment in order to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Additionally, you'll deal effectively with customer queries when directly approached and pass information up the management line where appropriate.

<u>You will need a flexible approach to work which enables working on a standby rota.</u>

What do you need?

 *An understanding of the importance of teamwork *Previous experience of operating and maintaining complex processes and working with modern technology *Proven experience of working with computers and a range of software packages *Have the ability to problem solve and fault find *Good communication skills, both oral and written *An NVQ 2 qualification in Waste Water operations would be advantageous *Full UK Driving Licence

In return for your hard work as our Bioresources Operator, we can offer a Starting salary £20,728 per annum dependent on skills and experience + a working pattern supplement (Progressing to £27,122 per annum based on Wastewater Progression Scheme).
