Investment Analyst - M&A team, renewable energy investment fund, London. U.K, �35,000 - �45,000 + bonus and great career opportunities

High calibre investment / financial analyst with 1 to 2 years of financial modeling experience (DCF) to join the M&A team of a leading investment fund specializing in solar projects in the UK and Europe.

The role offers the opportunity to experience many facets of the business which is at the forefront of renewable investment.

You’ll be required to turn your hand to anything, crunching numbers for reports, attending meetings with project sellers, helping produce proposals, business documents, making financial valuations etc.

You’ll be given as much responsibility as you can handle – the environment is fast paced, lively, challenging and progressive and with some strong personalities, so this is definitely not for the feint hearted.

The team is young, dynamic, international and strongly multicultural.

About you

We’re looking for someone with strong quantitative and analytical skills (the role involves intense financial modeling) and with a passion to develop a career in renewable energy or investment management – or preferably both.

You’ll have up to 2 years of experience in a similar position (leading bank, fund, developer...) with ideally experience in the renewable sector and you'll be highly conversant with DCF models, having used them extensively.

You’re extremely hardworking and happy to join a team that can be working long hours. Fluent English with great written and oral communications skills. Fluency in a second language, is useful.

You must be highly computer literate with very strong MS Office skills, preferably highly advanced Excel, PowerPoint Word.

The position is based in Central London – West End. Start ASAP.

Essential - EU Citizen / right to work in UK without sponsorship.
