Title: Senior Environmental Consultant

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join our client's team in Ireland. This position offers a hybrid working model, based in either in Meath or Galway, and involves managing projects of various scales and types in the areas of EPA licensing and auditing. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, assist clients in navigating complex regulatory requirements, ensure compliance with environmental legislation, and contribute to sustainable development across Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental compliance, with a strong focus on EPA licensing and compliance auditing. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about environmental sustainability and has a proven capability to effectively assist clients to meet their environmental and regulatory requirements.

Competencies:
  • A third level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or related discipline.
  • Experience working in the Irish environmental and planning legislative contexts with EPA Licencing and report writing / review.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 4+ years’ relevant experience preferred.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated and solution driven.
  • A full clean driving licence.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellence in delivery in the following areas:
  • Conducting EPA compliance audits and environmental assessments to evaluate operational adherence to licensing conditions.
  • Managing client relationships by providing expert guidance on environmental regulatory matters, specifically in relation to EPA requirements.
