O&M Site/Portfolio Manager – Solar Energy, Site Based/WFH, Kent, SE England, UK, C.�45,000 P.A

This dynamic, self-lead role is to join the operation and maintenance division of the new energy team of a global asset management company.

They invest and asset manage across the renewable energy sector with a focus on solar energy, battery energy storage, wind, and electric vehicle transportation.

This company boasts a portfolio of �6.5 billion assets under management and has offices across the UK to manage, maintain and operate these assets.

About you

We’re looking for someone who has excellent experience of first-hand O&M field work to deliver high quality operation and maintenance to their portfolio of sites to maintain the quality and performance of the asset.

You are comfortable leading your own portfolio of managed sites, using the relevant tools to monitor health and performance of these sites whilst overseeing the use of contractors as required.

Ideally you are based somewhere in the south-east of England, local to a large amount of the operational sites but there is some flexibility as long as you are able to travel regularly to visit sites within your portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

* To help the O&M team to achieve high HSQE standards across our portfolio, working closely with HSE Manager.
* Deliver all the Preventative Maintenace and Reactive Maintenance on the allocated portfolio.
* To help other teams when required
* Complete Site Inspections across the portfolio as required
* Direct supervision of various works, including overseeing contractors as required
* Provide support to the Asset Management team in multiple disciplines to ensure optimal performance of all assets.
* Provide reports after each inspection on site (Monthly or reactive)
* Use SCADA to monitor the health of the BESS assets under management
* Understand failures and propose solutions to existing problems affecting availability. Site visits, HSE inductions, and interactions with Technical Advisers.
* Responsible for the total portfolio availability.
* Supervise PAC / IAC & FAC processes

Main Responsibilities

* Ideally, three to five years of experience in the renewable energy industry. (solar and BESS)
* Fully qualified electrician (AM2, 18th edition, 2391) with Solar experience
* The ability to manage a portfolio of assets under minimum supervision.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and IAuditor will be advantageous
* Experience with BESS systems is desirable but not essential.

Remuneration

This role is offered on a fully employed basis, with a competitive base salary in the region of �45,000 based on experience and value.
